DIRECTIONS

STEP 1

Wash your hair with the ILLUMINEX Touch of Blonde Lightening Shampoo and let the golden pigment enrich your warm blonde tones for vibrancy and depth of colour – we recommend you leave this on for max 5 minutes.

STEP 2

After shampooing, follow with the ILLUMINEX Touch of Blonde Lightening Conditioner. This nourishing formula is sulphate-free and enriched with AquaPlex™, which repairs and enhances the lustre and depth of shine to hair, letting you achieve this super glossy, glamorous look.

STEP 3

Dry your hair as you usually do.

STEP 4

Brush hair and part into four manageable sections, splitting hair in half by your natural parting and then again half way up the head.

STEP 5

Choose a curling tong for the desired look you want to create – we used one with a thicker barrel to achieve these smooth sleek mermaid waves.

STEP 6

Then take thick 1-inch sections of your hair and start curling your hair by facing the tong downwards and wrapping your hair around the barrel away from your face.

STEP 7

Once curled, leave each section in its ringlet and work your way throughout the sections of your hair until all the hair has been curled.

STEP 8

Wait for your hair to cool and then gently run your fingers through your hair to loosen the ringlets until you create loose mermaid waves.

What is Clarifying Shampoo?

Clarifying shampoos are deep cleansing treatments for your hair that prevent product build-up and remove hard water minerals, excess oil, and pollutants. Using the shampoo regularly in between washes can allow your hair to appear healthy and shiny, removing any unwanted build up.

Clarifying shampoos should be used before colouring your hair so that the colour can successfully penetrate the hair shaft, and before using a hair mask, so the nourishing ingredients have optimum effect. It’s best not to use one too soon after a colour treatment though, as it may cause the colour to fade quicker.

They’re also extremely effective at removing chlorine from hair, making them the perfect hair product for swimmers who want to keep their colour bright.

Due to their deep cleansing, detoxing properties, clarifying shampoos can be rather drying, so we would always recommend teaming them with the use of a conditioner.

How to use PRO:VOKE’s Touch of Silver Clarifying Treatment Shampoo

Our clarifying shampoo is perfect for natural or dyed white, platinum, blonde, and grey hair. Use once or twice a week between uses of your normal shampoo and conditioner – we’d recommend using our Touch of Silver Colour Care Shampoo and Conditioner.
