Unlike some of the other silver shampoo and conditioners you also don’t seem to run the risk of turning your hair blue. Conditioner also felt like it was actually conditioning your hair which as blondes know, is desperately needed!! Looking at the usual cost of this too, it’s a bargain!!

I left this on for a few minutes (personal preference) to aid shampoo in working to counteract the brassy tones in my hair. I applied a little more conditioner to ensure even coverage and also left this on for a few minutes. My hair was left feeling smooth and glossy with minimal brassy tones from having years of highlights.

This combo is definitely one of the best out there for keeping my hair shiny without any yellowness. I’m naturally blonde but like to lighten my hair slightly which tends to go a bit yellow after a couple of weeks but this shampoo and conditioner really help with keeping my hair looking fresh as if I just had it done! My only issue is that it can leave my hair slightly dry unless I use a leave-in treatment. Would still highly recommend.

I’ve been interested in trying the Touch of Silver range for a while but has always assumed that it was only for grey, silver or very pale blonde hair. I do have blonde hair but it does have mostly golden tones. I had hoped that this would tone down the reddish, brassy tones in my hair and give me a more neutral, ashy shade. Unfortunately, this didn’t work out well for my hair colour. If anything it made my hair look a bit darker and duller, so I guess it toned it down but made it look dull and un-interesting. I also found that the conditioner left a bit of residue, despite a thorough rinse. This made my hair feel slightly ‘crispy’ when it dried. Not for me unfortunately, but maybe my hair colour isn’t suitable for this product.

Good for blonde hair, however if you bleach your hair dont leave it on too long as it’ll go purple!

There’s no doubt that this product isn’t the best on the market – fudge and other more expensive brands leave your hair in better quality. However, for the price of these products and for using sparingly, it really does what it says on the tin in terms of eliminating brassiness. Not a huge fan of the chemical smell though!

This combo is definitely one of the best out there for keeping my hair shiny without any yellowness. I’m naturally blonde but like to lighten my hair slightly which tends to go a bit yellow after a couple of weeks but this shampoo and conditioner really help with keeping my hair looking fresh as if I just had it done! My only issue is that it can leave my hair slightly dry unless I use a leave-in treatment. Would still highly recommend.

I liked how shimmery the shampoo was, the conditioner made my hair feel nice and it wasn’t particularly hard to comb after washing. the smell is nice also, however I didn’t notice any difference to my highlights… I would probably pick up if on offer but I haven’t been converted

I’ve been interested in trying the Touch of Silver range for a while but has always assumed that it was only for grey, silver or very pale blonde hair. I do have blonde hair but it does have mostly golden tones. I had hoped that this would tone down the reddish, brassy tones in my hair and give me a more neutral, ashy shade. Unfortunately, this didn’t work out well for my hair colour. If anything it made my hair look a bit darker and duller, so I guess it toned it down but made it look dull and un-interesting. I also found that the conditioner left a bit of residue, despite a thorough rinse. This made my hair feel slightly ‘crispy’ when it dried. Not for me unfortunately, but maybe my hair colour isn’t suitable for this product.

The shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling soft and there was a definite brightness in my blonde highlights. However, having very curly hair, I found that this product made my hair dry and a little frizzy, so I don’t think I would use it regularly.
